Macro never ceases to amaze me. If you look at it in its original size, you can very clearly see the texture of the phone. And the stylish purple-pink color.

This is one of the only photos I took today, even though it didn’t turn out that great. I was trying to take a macro picture of the lightbulb, but it’s so hard when there’s so much in the background and I can’t keep my hand steady to save my life.

This stuff was the best soda ever. Seriously. Grape Mountain Dew- it just couldn’t get any better. But then they stopped making it…

I get to be in the back with the guys on Sundays now. I’ve been angling for that privilege for years, and now that we’re back and I’m not a technologically-challenged little munchkin. Today a very old, well-meaning man in our church gave a twenty minute children’s story that was very obviously to the adults in the church. He’s done this before, so a few minutes after he’d launched into his tirade, I pulled out my camera and experimented with angles of the soundboard. It’s a lot harder than you might think to get a picture like this without moving one of those buttons or switches.

Dad and I got up at six this morning to go to an audio/video seminar for our church. If that doesn’t tell you about the kind of day I had, you must not know me very well. The seminar wasn’t all that interesting, and I ended up going home early and taking a long nap. But I did learn quite a bit about our church’s sound system. And it was kind of fun to hang out with Dad all day. During one of the breaks, I pulled out my camera and started trying to take pictures of this tree through a window. Dad wouldn’t have it, and took me outside in the freezing cold so I could take better pictures. And look what we got!

We’re so cute. This was taken around the same time the other one of Tara and me… possibly. It was in the same folder on my computer, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. =)

This is the science building on campus, and on a rare clear day, too. I had a short break between Biology Lab and the actual Biology class, so I wandered outside with my camera in hand.

I think this was when Tara first went to college, but I’m not sure. We were at an Olive Garden, in any case, and it was right after Mom and Dad bought their first digital camera (which I broke a few years later, incidentally). There are a few more pictures like this, I think, but I’m not sure where they are. Hm, I’ll have to look sometime…

For some reason, my camera focused on the cord instead of the book, and it looks kinda neat. Even taking pictures of the same thing every week can turn out different than expected!

…Is my new favorite place to eat. Their food is fabulous. We’ve gone there several times in the past few weeks, since it’s pretty close to campus. Gotta love made-to-order Mexican food.
